COMMITTEE REPORTS:
PLANNING/WATER:
Laura Mork asked if John Graham was successful getting the filter media tank finished. John Graham stated that the filter media replacement was finished and is operational; there may be some slough off due to the activated carbon and may cost an additional $110 per year.

Ola Bergsholm stated that due to the condition of our backhoe LISE might consider a backhoe that he had seen for sale in Seattle; it has 2000 hours on it and an approximate price of $30,000 - $35,000; there is also a sweeping roller that can be attached to the backhoe at the bucket tip. Laura Mork asked if there was any information. Ola Bergsholm stated that there is nothing written about it but it is a CASE. Discussion followed.

OPERATIONS:

John Graham stated that at the WETRC Conference it was discussed about completing the small water system plan and emergency response plan. These are housekeeping upgrades.

Darlene Stoffer stated that it looks like the county has taken over some of the tree trimming in LISE. There seems no reason for what they have been doing. John Graham stated that the county will be chipping the roads in May. They will be blacktopping over dips and holes. There will be three weeks of construction.

John Graham stated that the docks will be placed in the water at the beginning of May. There are a couple of mediocre tides at the end of the month and we are expecting some weather so it is likely that they will not get in until the first week of May.
