BOARD OF DIRECTORS’ MEETING
December 8, 2002

CALL
TO ORDER: by President Bob Bowman at 9:30
a.m.
PRESENT:
Lucy
Bain, Bob Bowman, Ricardo Camarillo, Laura Mork, Barbara Myers, Darlene
Stoffer, Treasurer LuWilla Croy, Operations Manager John Graham and General
Manager Jackie Granger.
VOTING
STATUS: All board members present are in good
standing.
MINUTES
OF PREVIOUS MEETING:
Minutes
from the November 17, 2002 were distributed at this meeting and will be
revised and approved at the January 19, 2003 meeting.
MEMBERS
& GUESTS:
Victor
Armfield – observing, Louise Weber – would like to tape the meeting and
would like to know why she is not allowed to.
Bob
Bowman stated that this Board has decided not to allow taping of the Board
Meetings.
Ron
Bain – thanks to Darlene Stoffer and Leslie Quento for putting on the Christmas
Party and thanks to the Board for supporting that. Has submitted a report
from himself and Chuck Ortego and is willing to answer any questions. Bob
Bowman stated thanks and the Board will read and discuss it.
Mark
Mech - observing, Neva Bueckner - observing, Tom Christiansen
- observing. Bob Bowman thanked Tom for all of his expertise in assisting
getting the backhoe brakes fixed.
Don
Adema – observing, JoAnn Bowman – thanked everyone for the party it was
a great one and the children had a great time and received perfect gifts.
Bob Bowman thanked Dar for all the effort and asked that she pass this
on to Leslie.

COMMUNICATIONS:
Ron
Bain & Chuck Ortego – report from the Financial Oversight Committee.
Bill
Johnson - Grievance Committee Report.
COMMITTEE REPORTS:
PLANNING:
Ricardo
Camarillo stated there was no report at this time.
WATER
Laura
Mork stated that October water test results were fine. John Graham stated
that November results were returned and were satisfactory.
OPERATIONS:
Darlene
Stoffer stated that she had nothing to add to John’s report. Darlene Stoffer
stated that chips have been spread around the lake and there is now a complete
walking trail around the lake.
John
Graham submitted his written report as follows:
Water:
The total gallons of water used for the month of November was 676,800 gallons.
Average daily usage was 22,600 gallons per day.
Reservoir:
The reservoir is -7'10" from overflow.
Testing:
The November water samples have been sent to Avocet and not been returned
at the writing of this report. The October samples were all satisfactory.
Training:
I attended a one day training seminar in Mt. Vernon in November.
Maintenance:
Only routine maintenance has been completed in the month of November.
Miscellaneous:
All three boards have been removed from the swim lake for the winter.
For
some reason this has been the year for dead heads to wash up onto the boat
ramp. Numberous logs ave been removed.
The
worts areas of the private roads have been cleaned.
The
trailer sign was installed.
Bachoe
brake repairs are under way.
Propane
tanks have been switched. The old tanks are still here. Amerigas has been
notified and have scheduled the old tanks for pick up.
We
have had a persistent leak for the entire month of November.
The
Imhoff cone used for testing of settleable solids has been purchased.
The
DNR brush clean up has been completed and all of the wood chips have been
utilized and spread on several LISE owned locations.
