UNFINISHED BUSINESS: 
The Mark Hunter updated everyone on the playground. Phase 1 has been complete (the swingset.) A mailing is ready to be sent out to the members of LISE only, seeking donations and selling t-shirts. 

2005/6/6    M.  Ron Bain   2nd  Laura Mork   “this letter that has been distributed to the board be mailed to the LISE members only by staff of LISE; costs to be taken from the playground fund.”  Passed Unanimously.

2005/6/7    M.  Boyd Barry   2nd   Laura Mork  “that upon receipt of the engineer’s stamp the playground may proceed into phase 2. The maximum funds available is determined by the balance of the playground fund.”  Passed Unanimously.

NEW BUSINESS: 
Jackie Granger explained that Duncan McLane, Lummi Island Fire Chief requested to draw water from our swim lake to use for foam demonstrations at their open house on June 26, 2005.

2005/6/8    M.  Laura Mork   2nd  Boyd Barry   “allow the fire department to withdraw 2,000 to 3,000 gallons of water from the swim lake for their use at the Lummi Island Fire Department open house on June 26, 2005 .  Passed.
