FINANCE:
Ina Clark read a report from Treasurer Kate Underwood regarding the 2002 Audit. Discussion followed. 
Ina Clark stated that a worksheet has been prepared detailing the transfer of funds from reserves to operating funds.
2003/11/5    M.  Ina Clark   2nd  Louise Weber   “Move $12,000 from reserves into operating funds”  Passed unanimously.
Ina Clark paraphrased a letter from Clay Wray regarding changing the existing dues structure to incorporate the variety of uses of the LISECC resources by members.
Ina Clark reported about the Board’s work regarding the budget for 2004. 
 
ADMINISTRATION:
Louise Weber distributed bylaw revisions, they will be discussed at the December meeting.

MARINE:
Marge Warner stated that a complaint has been received by a member regarding members who are storing boats at the clubhouse trailer parking area. Discussion followed. Letters will be sent to those members and members who are storing their boats on the beach.

NATURAL DISASTER:
Frankie Small read a written report.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS: 
Jackie Granger stated that the surveyor has marked the line on Division 6, lot 6 and 7 and Steve Schneider will make a determination on the septic situation.
Jackie Granger stated that a member requested an easement from Dogwood Terrace at last month’s meeting and information was requested from the owner. The member needs to submit a plan showing the easement.
Discussion was held on the next budget meeting. A budget meeting will be held at 9:30 a.m. December 13, 2003 and on the morning of December 20. <The December 13, 2003 meeting was cancelled.>
 

NEW BUSINESS:
2003/11/6    M.  Ina Clark   2nd  Laura Mork   “move that we raise the dues by $8.76, the maximum permitted by the CPI for 2004.”  Passed.
 

There being no further business the Board meeting was adjourned at 2:07 pm. 

 
Next meeting will be December 20, 2003 at 1:30 p.m.
