Join your neighbors at the Marina for a Firewise Work Party. Learn how to Firewise your own property, get hands-on experience, and work together as a community to address wildfire challenges.
At 9:00 am we will look at the Clubhouse as a case study of how to be Firewise. Then we will get to work on limbing trees and trimming tall shrubs around the beach and BBQ area.
You don't have to join the work party to participate.
Please come anyway and observe Firewise Community in action.
Work party volunteers:
Please bring your own personal protective equipment, especially eye protection and gloves. Hard hats/helmets are recommended as we will be cutting overhead.
The Marina docks and boat launch will remain open during this activity.
